just a few shot examples from finished scenes, overall really happy with how the aesthetic of the film has turned out, quite polished if I do say so myself, any comments welcome.

Here is a screen shot, from shot 6 of my film. This is what im finessing at the moment, just tweaking it. I am doing it from a slightly different angle, but this angle shows the detail I am trying to achieve better I think

This is a preview of what I would like the flashbacks to be like. I'm not sure if it is still a little too quick, or if it reads well enough. Any comments welcomed, as this is an important part of the film.

this is the background for the van moving towards the asylum. I have used a different looking environment to add variation to the city scenario from his flashbacks. Also I have tried to make it quite light, to add some variety and so that it doesn't get too bogged down with the dark vibe.

This is an example of one of the flashbacks. The actual angle wont be the same as this, but I am using this to show the whole environment.

Just some extra skin surface texturing that I feel gives the main character more of a realistic feel. As he suffers from schizophrenia, I decided to have him having surface wounds, due to the fact he can become aggresive and possibly would have hurt himself in his mental torture.

This is just a test of camera angle and composition with the over the shoulder shot that will be in quite a few of my shots, I think so far its looking quite nice. I will in the end be doing a depth pass, to add some subtle depth of field, if there is a character talking to him, or the distant geometry. Overall I think it is coming together as well as can be expected aesthetically.

This is my main character in the asylum room, very similar to the previous image I displayed on here, but this time with all the right textures in place, and lighting correct, which definitely adds the extra dimensions I need for the film.

This is Seren, the final character in the room cene that i have done to portray my super realism ideaology for the film. I think he looks pretty decent within the scene and keeps the aesthetic as I want. I still have to finish tweaking the rigging, but that is all I have to do I believe. Also I will be re-checking the morph targets, to make sure I have all the correct expressions that I need for the film.

This is the doctor that i have for my film. He is very much a secondry character, but is needed for the story to move along, the main part of his role, is showing the audience that his diagnosis is schizophrenia, to make it easier to see. I am happy with the outcome of him, as he keeps up my super realism movement that the film has become, but is very obviously seen as a doctor and not a generic character.

I have done this image whilst at uni which is the reason for their not being any textures in the room for this shot, but I will post another version with all the textures in. I am extremely happy with the outcome of James Schwartz, the main character of my film. He is looking extremely realistic, and gives the feel of how I wanted the character to look. I still may adapt his uv map to include more surface detail, like cuts, bruises, grazes etc, but I will decide that in the next day or so.

Another version of rufus in the room, looking down at James, I feel it gives a very dominant look to Rufus as he is getting more and more angry at the want to get james to remember his murder.

Here is an example of what the room looks like with one of the characters in. I think that it has turned out as well as I could have expected, in the fact that it seems to work well in the scene, although the lighting is assisting a lot with that. I have used this type of character as I wanted as much realism in the film as possible, but in doing so, that I can also finish the film as well. All in all my evaluation of this character is one of being very pleased with the outcome, and feel it has turned out well.
